Update on the Qld State Equestrian Centre

Nadya Marshall, Thursday, 7 July 2011
Vic Nichols, Chair and Peter Toft, Vice Chair of the Board of Equestrian Queensland recently visited the Queensland State Equestrian Centre.
Stage 1 of the new development has seen the construction of the 4,000 seat capacity indoor main arena, which will take centre stage at the new complex.  EQ understands from Moreton Bay Regional Council that the Indoor facility will be ready for a community opening in the first week of September.
The first Equestrian event to be held at the Centre will be the Dressage Queensland’s State Championships 7-9 October 2011.
It is exciting to see this venue taking shape from EQ’s last visit, in March of this year.
