Federer No. 1 (not the tennis player!)
A stunning double clear round gives Carly Overton and Federer victory in the Futurity at Gatton Show. This takes them to the top of the Aitkens Series leader board. This is the third change of leader in as many rounds, proof that this series won’t be over until the last fence is jumped.
In second place on the leaderboard at the beginning of the show, Chloe Hughes was trying to reclaim the series lead, but buckled under the pressure having the last fence of the jump-off down, coming in fifth as the fastest 4 faulter.
Double clear rounds payed off for Anthony Murray and Billy Raymont who came second and third respectively.
